Can't make it to the reunion?
Send a greeting to your fellow family members by signing the Bittner Reunion Guest Book!

Guest book entries will be displayed at the all-day family picnic on August 10, 2002. The guest book is provided as a means to help ensure that every member of the family can participate in the reunion, even if not every member can attend. If you will be attending the reunion, leave a message for a family member who can't. To view guest book entries, click here.

Who is invited?

All descendents of Michael and Theresa (Baumgartner) Bittner are invited to attend the reunion. We have attempted to contact all living descendents in the United States and Canada.  If you are a family member or you know a family member who does not yet know about the reunion, please contact us for more information. Please help us spread the word about the reunion to all family members! All are welcome to attend any or all of the reunion events.

Michael and Theresa Bittner came to the United States from Germany in 1874 and settled in Minden, Iowa, in 1875.  In 1885, they moved to Adrian, Nobles County, Minnesota.  They had twelve children: Francis, Anna, Elizabeth, Theresa, Wenzel, Mary, Joseph, Franziska, Johan, Henry, Katherine, and Josephine.
